Perry Rubenstein Gallery is pleased to announce its presentation of Too Soon, a group exhibition curated by Santi Vernetti.  Too Soon is as much a response to prematurity as it is a state of being that explores the territory just beyond a frontier. This exhibition brings together works that engage in various discourses surrounding how images are being made, experienced, appropriated, and recycled across a variety of platforms and devices today.Artists included in the show are working at the forefronts of contemporary art making and thinking in Los Angeles, and represent a generation of artists collectively investigating the aesthetic and ideological effects of global cyber industries and network technologies on our everyday lives. The installation occupies the physical gallery space and an online space created specifically for the exhibition. By including works by all artists in both the exhibition’s physical and virtual spaces, Too Soon concretizes the Internet as an undeniable means for experiencing and understanding contemporary art while simultaneously celebrating the artists’ object-based practices.

With Rosewood Barbershop being next to one of the most prominent streetwear shop in SoCal, we often check out ATTIC Buena Park because we know they’re always fashion forward. They have a good selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories. But I also noticed today is their newly remodeled flagship store. Attic unveiled their renovated flagship few days ago. It was hard to ignore the fact that the new design had a strong focus on their customers. The staff are accommodating, great interior outfitted with dark wood floors, a good community of streetwear brands available including Rosewood Cutters. What else can you ask for? So if you’re around the area, make sure to stop their shop or you can also check their website at

The Bank Sale street wear expo returning its way here at Los Angeles Convention Center.  TBS is a vibe of music, art, and style where you see different brands emerge. It is a different atmosphere, feeling and energy. Open to public which gives sellers a chance to showcase their brand. Anything can happen at the Bank Sale! Here’s a recap of last week’s event. Venue Trade Show is one of the most widely anticipated fashion conventions in Los Angeles. VTS brought retailers and designers to get together in a community level setting where up and coming brands can showcase their  apparel/accessories to major industry  companies. They also had panelist who  knows the ins and out of the streetwear fashion  which made the event even more exciting. One of the topic that I think made an impact to listeners is on how to build a brand identity in this competitive market .  Rosewood Barbershop also gave complimentary haircuts and was able to showcase our limited edition snapbacks.  We want to congratulate Miles and the whole team of The Venue Trade show for another successful event.  See you on the next trade show!

Exactly 8 years from now when Kobe Bryant made history scoring a career high 81 points against Toronto Raptors. It was January 22,2006, Lakers were struggling against the opposing team when Kobe decided to put the Lakers on his back and carry them offensively. Unbelievable isn’t it? I don’t think somebody can score like this in a Laker uniform again. It was just a legendary game. Happy 8 year anniversary Kobe!
