This is just like one of  those days when you woke up in the morning and decided to do something crazy. Something that wasn’t planned at all, something so random. This past weekend the homie and I went to San Diego to Skydive for the first time to experience the thrill and beauty of freefall. Like most people, I have always wondered what it would be like to fly.  Well, I got to fly for the first time, and it wasn’t by riding on an airplane rather it was by jumping out of one. The view was breathtaking on the ride to altitude. The plane took us as high as 13,000 feet. Freefall took me at least 2 minutes with a speed of 130 mph to 20 mph when we reached 5,000 feet to deploy the parachute. You can see as far as downtown San Diego to the South and Dana Point and Catalina Island to the North. It was amazing and I would definitely do it again!

I sat in a huge toothpaste-tube-shaped cylinder Cargo plane to receive final instructions from my lead diver.

Then there was no turning back.. 13,000 Feet high was no joke.

And all of a sudden I was in the air having the time of my life.

Thanks to Tsunami Skydivers for the great experience.

Now I can scratch this one off my bucket list. Cutters Fly High.
